J. Bradley “Brad” Greenblum has over 25 years experience in the real estate industry. Brad’s mix of skills and experience from both his practice of law, concentrating in the real estate and related finance areas, plus his past 15 years focused in retail-oriented real estate investments, lends itself to continued success in the challenging world of investment real estate and management. Since 1998, Mr. Greenblum has formed entities to own and manage over $75M of investment grade real estate properties located throughout Central and South Texas. The current portfolio under MHC Management supervision consists of eleven retail/office properties (over 525,000 sq. ft.), five manufactured housing communities/recreational vehicle parks containing over 500 rental sites and a large mixed-use property owners association. At MHC, Brad focuses on overall company strategy, addressing specific troublesome landlord/tenant issues, contract negotiations, vendor negotiations, entitlement and permitting issues, and trouble shooting difficult property management situations. Brad’s extensive experience allows for “hands on” property management by an educated and sophisticated real estate professional. From 1998 through 2005, Mr. Greenblum was the Vice President/Secretary of Capital Area Retail Development, Inc. (“CARD”), which owned approximately 300,000 square feet of retail shopping centers in and around Central Texas . At CARD, Brad was responsible for analyzing each investment opportunity, all acquisition due diligence, structuring each ownership entity, negotiating acquisition/financing and related agreements for all transactions, coordinating the consummation of each transaction , and was intimately involved in the management of those properties through CARD’s subsidiary, Capital Area Management, Inc. In addition to Mr. Greenblum’s management activities, he maintains the Law Offices of Greenblum & Associates, which consists of various attorneys and development research/permitting assistants. The firm’s practice is concentrated in the representation of real estate owners, operators, investors and developers. From 1995 to 1998, Brad was the senior shareholder in the Real Estate/Commercial Transaction and Land Use practice groups of the Austin office of Jenkens & Gilchrist. At the time, Jenkens & Gilchrist was one of the largest law firms in the Southwest United States with over 350 attorneys located in six cities, including Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles. Forty attorneys were located in the Austin office. Previously, he was associated with the international law firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue where he worked in their Austin and Tokyo, Japan offices. While with Jones, Day, Mr. Greenblum concentrated in real estate, finance, land use and international business matters. Throughout his career, Mr. Greenblum has practiced primarily in the real estate acquisition, development, and management areas where he has concentrated on complex transactions. Between 1993-2010, he was involved in over 100 separate real estate transactions, including approximately $325,000,000 of development, as well as sales, financings or similar transactions totaling in excess of $200,000,000. Mr. Greenblum received his B.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Texas at Austin in 1980 and his J.D. in 1983 from Southern Methodist University Law School where he concentrated in real estate and related areas of study. During his educational period, Brad was a member of several honorary groups, including being an editor of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce.


Mr. Butcher has over 16 years experience in the real estate industry in both institutional and entrepreneurial real estate ventures. Cumulatively, Mr. Butcher has been involved in the acquisition and development of over $300 million in commercial and multifamily real estate comprising over 850,000 SF of commercial space including office, industrial and retail, over 1,300 apartment units and 2,200 student housing beds. At MHC Management Co. and its affiliated company, Greenblum Investment Partners, Mr. Butcher is responsible for asset management, acquisitions, lease negotiation, due diligence, budgeting, financial analysis and human resources. Prior to joining MHC Management Co., Mr. Butcher was a Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer for Dovedale Capital Ventures, Inc (“Dovedale”) from 2005 to 2011. Dovedale was a privately owned full service commercial real estate firm located in Austin TX. While at Dovedale, Mr. Butcher was responsible for various aspects of Dovedale’s investment and operating businesses including strategic planning, development, acquisitions, leasing, brokerage and asset management including the development of Shops at Silverado, a two building 34,300 SF neighborhood retail center located in Austin, TX.  Prior to co-founding Dovedale, Mr. Butcher was a Director of On-Campus Development & Finance with American Campus Communities (“ACC”), the largest student housing REIT in the United States, from 2002 to 2004. During this time, he was involved in the development of over 2,200 student housing beds in Texas and Californiatotaling over $120,000,000. Mr. Butcher received his B.B.A. in Finance and Minor in Economics from Southern Methodist University in 1996 he is also a licensed Texas Real Estate Salesperson.


Matt Janysek, CPM is the Director of Property Management for MHC Managements and manages approximately 530,000 square feet of retail and office property. Matt brings more than sixteen years of commercial property management experience to MHC Management Company and has a strong background in retail operations, management, re-development, construction, project management, and public/private joint ventures. Before joining MHC Management in 2008, he served as Director of Maintenance Operations for Barshop and Oles Company where he was responsible for the management of regional operations for a multi-million dollar portfolio of retail, industrial, historic, office and mixed-use properties. Additionally, Matt is experienced in the development of environmentally sensitive areas and has worked on projects such as Central Park in Austin, which included the development and management of a water quality wet ponds system. One of Matt’s strengths is his ability to work with developers in all phases of the developmental process in order to facilitate a smooth transition from development to property management. Matt is a decorated military veteran that served in various military campaigns while attached to United States Army and Texas National Guard; he attended Texas State University earning a Bachelor of Sciences Degree. He is a Certified Public Manager, Certified Property Manager and is working towards a Project Manager designation. He is currently enrolled at Texas State University completing graduate degree in Land Use Development and Management. Matt is a member of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Christi A. Zay – Controller / Accountant

At MHC Management Co., Ms. Zay is our financial specialist responsible for handling the accounting transactions of all properties under management. Ms. Zay brings valuable experience in customer service, budgeting, bookkeeping and financial analysis, billing and collections, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and human resources and payroll.

Prior to joining MHC Management Co. in 2017, Ms. Zay served as the accounting assistant at Zach Scott Theatre in Austin while continuing her educational knowledge in accounting. Before shifting her focus to the accounting side of the real estate industry, Ms. Zay spent over 15 years as a Property Manager managing more than 500,000 square feet of REO Asset Portfolios of residential and retail space, and CBD and Suburban office high rise space from 1997 to 2012. Ms. Zay also has extensive experience in Office Administration and Management in both the private business and government service.

Ms. Zay earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Business Management degree in 1995 from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.



Jennifer LaRose – ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

Ms. Larose is the assistant property manager/office manager and assists in the ongoing day-to-day operations and management of over 820,000 square feet of retail and office property.

Ms. LaRose has 15 years of property management experience ranging from commercial, residential, and hospitality.

Prior to joining MCH, Ms. LaRose started her career in property management in Los Angeles in 2006. She started as an executive assistant to the President of Elat Properties Inc. Over the years, learning the different aspects of the business from lease administration, accounting, property renovation conversion, budget, and financial analysis, she became the “solutionist” of the company. Hence, she had traveled to almost all the states, maximizing her problem-solving skills to different properties all over the country.

Ms. LaRose studied and has her degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Central Philippine University, Philippines.  In addition, Ms. LaRose has also earned a Paralegal Certification from the University of Austin, TX.
